  1. Cute pictures - love the quotes!

  2. Hand raised! I love dogs and loved this post.

  3. Great quotes. I have two favorites - "There is no psychiatrist in the world like a puppy licking your face" author Ben Williams, and "My goal in life is to be as good of a person my dog already thinks I am." author unknown.

  4. Oh my gosh all those sweet babies! I have to say I'm very much drawn to that Border Terrier's little bold face - I guess he reminds me in a way of my Monkey!

    1. I've seen several Borders this spring, and they are so adorable.

  5. Just lovely ! Bought tears to my eyes - all so true....

  6. I can't imagine a world without dogs. I'm so glad I don't have to.
Last week we laid our beloved chocolate lab, Birdie, to rest. How I miss her! But I wouldn't trade anything in the world for the time we had with her, no matter how much it hurts. No regrets.
Just an aching heart and a world of bewilderment at the moment. We have never in 42 years been without a couple of dogs. And Ronan, our yellow lab, needs a companion. He is lost right now. So it begins again. We are keeping an eye out and our ears pricked up, waiting for the next member of our family. I'm glad you are ready to open your heart to a new companion. They bring such joy, don't they?

    1. Yolie, I'm so sorry about Birdie. I'm sending you a virtual hug, dear lady, and a favorite quote: "How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard." --A.A. Milne, Winnie the Pooh.

  7. Very sweet post. Of all the loves I've lost, my terrier was the hardest!

    1. I saw a terrier this past weekend who acted so much like Mister, I was spellbound. The breed was different (still a terrier, though), but the personality was striking. There's just something so endearing and unique about terriers (in general)!

  8. I adore dogs, but had to put to sleep a big doggie that stole our hearts and that was it for me and my hubs..We are cat people now, they seem to be a better fit for us, constant purring and sleeps right next to us day and night..But I do bring goodies to a no kill shelter for doggies and pet the many kittens people dump off at the door in early may and june the scoundrels and also give money to a feral cat place that snips the boys and fixes the girls feral cats and the people are sweet and kind..Just saying love the pictures and quotes quite a lot!

  9. I kept trying to choose my favorite dog and quote but I can't... I like them all!

  10. We are dog lovers, so I really enjoyed your post!! We have two, and when kids come over they all bring their dogs - there are 5 dogs! They all know each other and get along, we refer to them as the heard. It gets crazy at times but it really is a heard of unconditional love!!

  11. Both hands up! I have my English Lab on my blog every Monday. I have recorded the first day he came into our life and every monday since.
I call the page MM- Max Monday.

  12. What adorable photos and such great quotes! I'm so excited for you!!
